I fundamentally believe that every child inherently wants to do well, and they will if their unique needs are met. I view ADHD not as a collection of negative traits but as a unique way of thinking and experiencing the world. My approach to ADHD is rooted in a strengths-based perspective, recognizing and nurturing the wonderful, beautiful, and often overlooked aspects of this neurodivergence.

I have developed a deep insight into the difficulties our children encounter at school and home.  This unique blend of experience has allowed me to develop and implement effective strategies to address ADHD skill deficits and help children build the essential abilities they need to succeed.

Although I’ve always had an interest in children and their behavior, it was my journey as a mom raising a child with ADHD that truly ignited my passion for becoming a parent educator. Despite my decades of formal training and experience, I realized that I wasn't fully prepared for the heartbreak and challenges that come along with parenting a child with ADHD. This realization led me to consider the struggles that parents without a background in education and behavior management might be facing.
